Christmas
Our Christmas was pretty low key. I was still somewhat recuperating from my surgery. Renita invited us over on Friday night for Christmas dinner as Sandra, Dickie, Teresa and Charlus was there and had to go home on Saturday. Tammy and the kids were also there. I did not do good at taking pictures so only have one of that evening. Teresa and Charlus brought a turkey stuffed with a duck, stuffed with a chicken and stuffed with some Cajun dressing. Interesting but good. However, I can't speak for the duck as my mind couldn't quite handle that. On Sunday Tammy joined us for meeting and Christmas dinner which was Italian spaghetti and chocolate cake. Tommy made a fire and we ate in front of it and then took a nap all cozy and warm. It was a good relaxing day. Lindsay and Cameron had gone to their Oklahoma grandparents for the day. Then on Monday we went to Tammy's and ate lunch with her, the kids and their dogs. The white one is Lindsay's and the black one is Cameron's.

Lindsay's Apartment
In mid December we went to Austin on business. Cameron was already back in Dallas for the holiday school break but we got to see Lindsay. On that day we took lunch to her in her new apartment. She couldn't join us eating out as she was waiting to have her utilities turned on. We love her new place and know she is going to enjoy living there. Close to work and just a few blocks from downtown so very convenient for her and a fun place for a young girl to live. We are so proud of her accomplishments and maturity.

Thanksgiving
I am not going to fight with Blogger on getting these pictures in order so just enjoy the pictures. Greg and family came home for the week of Thanksgiving. We did everything from playing games, to attending craft shows, to visiting Gaylord Texan for lunch and of course lots of endless and mindless eating. The highlight of the week was me being sick all week and on Friday giving up and going to the emergency room and from there having emergency gall bladder surgery. So this Thanksgiving wasn't my favorite time but I am doing very good now and look forward to 2012 Thanksgiving and a redo of it all in good health.
