Another Loss
Monday we attended June D's funeral and it was a wonderful tribute to her. Not just to her but to the One that made her who she was. Her life was described perfectly. June was a Servant of the Church, meaning the church came first and I think everyone who knew her would agree. June was a Mother in the Gospel, friend, counselor, and a pillar . My first memory of June was when I was 7 years old. We had just moved to Lampassas and she and her sister, Louise, was in that field and visited us. I still remember the first time they came, and even at 7 I was so impressed with June and immediately drawn to her. She had a influence on my life for good through my teenage years. She left Texas when I was 20 and just married, but she was not forgotten. She returned to Texas 20 years ago to our field and her first address was our home She has had a very prominent place in our life and home since. I would say that outside of my parents, June probably had the most earthly impact on my life. Today the loss looks huge because of loosing both my Dad and June in the same month, two of the most influential people in my life and to think I will not hear their voice again with words of advice and help. But that which they have imparted to my life will never be forgotten. Thank You Mom, Dad and June.

Thinking of you!!! We will all miss those three DEAR people!! Glad for the influence they all had on me, too!
Love you!
Beautiful tribute! All three will be sorely missed!
Actually, that last comment was Ann, not sure how to make it show up right.
You brought tears to my eyes. All I can say is "ditto."
