On New Years Day, Nola, Dale and Brandon from Washington State came and spent the night with us. We really enjoyed having cousins that we don't get to see very often.
The first week of Jan brought some snow. It was beautiful and not cold enough to freeze on the roads so we enjoyed the pretty winter wonderland.
Tommy had a business trip to Arkansas which was in the same area where 3 of my cousins live. It was nice to have dinner with them at Chili's and have some chat time.
This is Samantha, baby Brianna, and Devon (Dawn's son).
Tommy, Gary, Jake (Dawn's husband), Dawn holding her first grandbaby, Brianna and Kim. Gary's wife was working and Kim's husband was sick. It was sooooo cold and rainy that night so we really appreciated them braving the weather to see us. It was a very fun evening.
This is the kids table. The 3 on the left are Gary's and he had to leave 2 at home sick. On the right, the one in the middle is Kim's and her son was working. The other 2 girls are Dawns. A very nice bunch of kids. Bertha and Ray your kids and grandkids are a great bunch. You did good!!
This is the visitor that we did not appreciate. A Ice Storm that has iced us in for 2 days and we hope it will release its grip on us tomorrow. The first day our drive, walks, and street was a solid sheet of ice. Better today but still to dangerous to be out on. We hope tomorrow will bring us total release of its grip. I do not like winter and 3 days of below 22 is very much unappreciated. We will not miss this visitor at all and hope it doesn't return this year or any other year as far as that goes.

How nice to see photos of our "Carlile cousins"!
